The ECONET working progress was presented by Telecom Italia during the ITU-T Joint Coordination Activity on ICT and climate change (JCA-ICT AND CC), which was held in Geneva on October 11.
The objectives of the Joint Coordination Activity on ICT and climate change (JCA-ICT AND CC) are to coordinate activity on ICT AND CC across ITU-T Study Groups, in particular SGs (5, 9, 13, 15 and 16), and to coordinate with ITU-R and ITU-D, as well as to provide a visible contact point for ICT and Climate Change activities in ITU-T, to seek cooperation from external bodies working in the field of ICT and CC and enable effective two-way communication with these bodies.
