On June 12, ECONET participated at the Home Gateway Initiative (HGI) meeting with the presentation “Requirements for Network Connections Proxy Functionalities in the HG”. Paris – France.
This contribution was inserted into the draft official document HGI-RWD031 “Requirements for Power Management of Home Network Devices”.
The contribution included:
→ An introduction about the concept of proxy as functionality to be supported by the home gateway, as central node of the home network and main coordinator of the connectivity and service enablement.
→ A detailed description of the sub-functions .
→ A number of specific requirements for the inclusion in the HGI draft.
